What is Splatcraft?

Splatcraft is a Minecraft mod based on Nintendo's popular game Splatoon!

This mod aims to add Items and Mechanics and Items based on the game in a cohesive way, such as Turf Wars, Weapons, Squid Transformations and many more!

What does the mod add?
-As of right now, this mod adds 18 different weapons from Splatoon and 15 variations for some, they can all be used as means to cover blocks in ink.

-As of right now, there are five different kinds of weapons, Shooters, Blasters, Rollers, Chargers, and Dualies
     -Shooters can be fired by Right-Clicking, shooting a stream of ink that can ink blocks according to your ink color, the range, spread, speed, and damage all vary according to the weapon.

     -Blasters work like Shooters, but they shoot at a straight line and their projectiles explode after a short time.

     -Rollers can be used by Right-Clicking as well, this will ink any ground in front of you and give you a small speed boost depending on the Roller, you can also Left-Click to fling ink.

     -Chargers are fired by releasing Right-Click, their damage and distance depend on how long you hold Right-click for.

     -Dualies have some shared properties with Shooters, but they can be dual-wielded, doubling their attack speed. they also let you do a dodge roll (it's more of a dash tho) by firing, jumping and walking in any            direction at the same time

-To fire any of the weapons above, you're going to need an ink tank, it slowly gets filled over time.
-You can also turn into a squid by pressing Z (default key), this lets you swim through ink of your same color, making you move faster, regenerate health, go up walls, and appear nearly invisible

-Walking on ink of an opposing color will slow you down and damage you slightly if you're not in Peaceful
-To change your ink color, you can use the new and original inkwell blocks, just go on top of them as a squid to change your color!
-There's also a wide variety of survival materials used to make most items in the mod, one of them being Sardinium, which can be naturally found underground like any other ore

-Another material you'll need are power eggs, these can be obtained by fishing

-Aside from power eggs, you can also obtain Sunken Crates by fishing, ink them to get some free stuff!
-Empty Inkwells can be filled by putting them alongside Power Eggs and Ink Sacs in an Ink Vat, you can make Ink Filters to get a wider selection of colors

-Weapons are made at an Ammo Knights Workbench, it works by selecting a weapon, and then clicking on the Craft button when you have the required materials

-A Turf Detector item is also a part of the mod as a temporary solution for turf war matches, once you specify two positions by right-clicking them, it'll count up any inked blocks in the area and then output the winner.

-There's also an Ink Disruptor item, it works just like the turf detector, but instead, it clears out any ink inside of the specified area

-A few commands are also added by the mod, /turfwar and /clearink, they share functionality with the Turf Detector and Ink Disruptor items, and /splatcraftrules, it lets you toggle a few Splatcraft mechanics, such as ink decay and the ability to keep Splatcraft weapons after dying.

FAQ
-What about Minecraft 1.12? 

Unfortunately with the upgrade to 1.16, Minecraft 1.12 will no longer be supported, as it's near impossible for me to maintain two versions of the same mod constantly updated.

-Will you ever add Octolings / Singleplayer content?

Yeah, i will eventually get to doing that, just not right now.
