Simple, stupid, and effective. Adds Stimpaks to Minecraft.

Use JEI for exact recipes.

New Update: 0.3.1!

Auto-inject Stimpaks and High-Capacity Stimpaks! And Auto-inject High-capacity Stimpaks, for when you just don't feel like dying.

Auto-inject Stimpaks are automatically used when you hit half-health, to prevent the need to fumble with your inventory when in a crisis situation. You need to craft a sensor module, and then craft that sensor module with any variety of Stimpak to get and auto-inject stim of that variety.

High-capacity Stimpaks are Stimpaks with 3 uses per stim, but unfortunately, due to system limitations, not stackable. To offset this, they give more healing + mild regeneration. Craft three Stimpaks together to get a high-capacity stim.

Bitter powder: a mildly restorative powder that removes all potion effects, then applies regeneration, but is so bitter that it makes you nauseous. Eight seeds of any variety crushed into a bowl gives 1 bitter powder.

Antidote: 3 Bitter Powder + milk yields a more powerful medicine without the nausea. Recipe yields 2 pills. Stackable to 16, for better balance.

Goal of mod:

Early-to-midgame cheap medical items, such as Stimpaks, Antidotes, and herbal medicines, designed to allow access to healing without Nether access. This mod is focused on the idea of single-player, so may not be balanced for PVP. More medicines may be added over time, but they will all be focused on the early-to-midgame, meaning the recipes will be (generally) cheap.

I made this due to a lack of healing-related mods in 1.16.5, specifically, and a lack of early-game healing overall.

I made this with MCreator.

Permissions:

You are allowed and encouraged to put this in any modpack, public or private, provided that you do not charge for access to the modpack.

You are not allowed to reupload this mod to anywhere, without prior, written authorization.

To state my intensions exactly: I am trying to prevent websites such as 9minecraft and others in that vein from

making money off of my work via ad.fly and other such websites. As long as this isn't being reuploaded to one of

those websites, and you aren't making money off of the mod, you're probably fine. If in doubt, either link back here

or contact me.

Known Issues/Incompatibilities:

  • Project E has an issue where the High-Capacity Stimpaks immediately turn into their Metal Syringe form upon transmuting. This is due to the fact that Project E's transmutation isn't technically crafting the item, thus the script that sets the doses of medicine never gets run. I don't know how to fix this just yet, but I'm looking into it.
  • Sometimes an "empty" stim won't be removed properly. Just right-click with it in your hand again and it should give you the metal syringe.
  • In the case of having a glitched "0" durability High-Capacity Stimpak, if you have both a filled High-Capacity Stimpak and the "0" durability High-Capacity Stimpak in your hotbar, if the filled High-Capacity Stimpak is to the left of the "0" durability High-Capacity Stimpak, when you right click the Stimpak to get the metal syringe, the full durability Stimpak will be consumed instead. I have tried and tried to fix this, but it is an elusive fix. Solution: make sure your filled High-Capacity Stimpaks are not to the left of any empties you're processing, or put them in your main inventory; this issue only plagues the hotbar. This issue does not effect the single-use stims.

Next Update: Eminent Plans already in the works. Ordering is based on priority.

  1. Refilling Partially-used stims
  2. Regeneration Drug

Future Plans: These may or may not be added or worked on. Basically an idea board.

  • Emergency Healing Kit
