Stupendous Travels allows you to walk faster on certain blocks such as Path Blocks! The reason I created this mod is that is solves a problem I had with Happy Trails. Happy Trails gives you potion effects which I and a friend of mine are not a fan of. Stupendous Travels changes your velocity another way rather then using potion effects.
By default blocks that slow you are
- Sand
- Red Sand
- Netherrack
- Snow
- Concrete Powder
By default block that speed you up are
- Grass Path
- Netherrack Path
- Red Sand Path
- Sand Path
- Snow Path
- Soul Soil Path
- Stone Brick Slabs
- Brick Slabs
- Concrete
Boots
When wearing anything in the boots slots the effect of any speed effecting blocks is diminished. 1 is normal speed. For example the speed boost you get from bricks goes from 1.3 to 1.2 and sand from 0.9 to 1
Blocks can be changed by using datapacks and tags, here's a good video explaining how to make datapacks.
