The Boomers Mod

Context

A friend of mine originally had an idea to create a Minecraft server for our community called "The Boomers." To this date, the server had 2 iterations, the original Boomers SMP, and then the Boomers Reborn SMP. The original server (Boomers SMP) had done really well for our community, but it was unbalanced as we added custom items to the server. We made the Boomers Reborn SMP in order to fix the issues that existed in the Boomers SMP. Unfortunately, the Boomers Reborn SMP was not a major hit, as school began in person learning, lack of returning players, and loss of overall interest had made the server die out on its 0.2 update. I wanted to make this mod to show what my visions for the unique aspects of the server would be. I am hoping to add all the items that existed in the Boomers SMP & Boomers Reborn SMP and expand on those to for one show my thanks to anyone who genuinely enjoyed the server, and those who supported the project even though they did not play.t

Features

The project contains custom weapons with recipes that are what my visions were for weapons in the Boomers SMP & Boomers Reborn SMP servers

Weapons:

• Axe of the Atoned
• Wither Blade

Custom Weapon Abilities

• Wither Impact (Wither Blade via Enchantment {see below})
• Bullseye (Axe of the Atoned)

Enchantments & Items

• Concentration (Enchantment that lowers weapon ability cooldowns)
• Wither Impact (Enchantment unlocks Wither Impact ability on Wither Blade)
• WIthered Handle (Crafting item)

Notice: This project is ongoing, I do not intend on stopping at the Boomers SMP/Reborn SMP items
