Description
Adds a grappling hook, inspired by the one from the Worlds Adrift game.
Grapple allows players to swing around and reach places they couldnt before.
We also have a discord server
Current status: making dungeon block and mod trailer
What is already there:
- A craftable grapple hook (with a nice model)
- Ability to attach the rope by right-clicking (reach can be set in config file)
- Ability to detach the rope by right-clicking
- Rope wrapping around blocks physics
- Rope unwrapping
- Rope swinging physics
- Some bugs with rope physics
- Ability to reel in and out (sneak/sprint buttons)
- Ability to grapple boost (jump button)
- Detaching rope when the initial hit block is destroyed
- Works in multiplayer for the most part
What will come in future updates:
- Updating rope when any of the wrapped blocks are destroyed
- Rendering bug fixes
- Physics bug fixes
- May be something more
