A configurable fabric mod that adds very powerful (and very hard to get) weapons and armor, themed around the Warden and the Ancient City

The Depth-Keeper’s Heartplate now acts as a rechargeable Totem of Undying; Receiving fatal damage while wearing the Heartplate will cause its heart to stop beating and will prevent you from dying. In this state, the Heartplate will provide less Protection and Knockback resistance. You can make the heart beat again by repairing the chestplate with Warden Blood in a smithing table. Warden Blood can be acquired by surrounding a Warden Heart in a crafting table with four Glass Bottles.

Obtaining Items

The intended way to obtain the items in this mod is to kill The Warden (hence the name), but it is possible to obtain everything without killing The Warden. That being said, you can disable the alternate methods of obtaining the items in the config if you’d like.

Imbued Ingots can be rarely found in chests in the Ancient City, or can be crafted by surrounding an Iron Ingot on four sides with Consumed Souls, which can be obtained in three ways:

• Killing The Warden (Drops many)
• Looting an Ancient City chest (Rare)
• Mining a Sculk block (Very rare)

Imbued Ingots can be combined with Netherite tools to make Imbued Tools

• The Imbued Axe and Imbued Sword inflict Darkness on foes
  

A Warden Heart can be obtained in two ways

• Killing The Warden (Always drops one)
• Surrounding a diamond with four Imbued Ingots and four Echo Shards

Warden Hearts can be combined with Netherite armor to make the Depth-Keeper’s Armor Set

Wearing the Depth-Keeper’s Helmet will give you immunity to Darkness, wearing the full Depth-Keeper’s Armor Set will give you the Scourge of the Depths bonus, making the Warden fear you.

The Bane of the Depth-Keeper enchantment increases damage against the Warden and can be obtained in two ways:

• Looting an Ancient City chest
• Using an enchanting table

The Warden Tendrils trinket is an item that allows you to detect and visualize nearby vibrations. Install the Trinkets mod to unlock this item, then either kill a Warden (30% chance), or loot an Ancient City chest (very rare) to find it.
