WhisperingShout
Overview
My first mod that took roughly a day of work to complete, this is a simple mod that disables global chat and adds regional, local chat for RPG servers. Only required server-side (maybe not in the 1.7.10 version, but it should be so for 1.12.2).
Commands
Shout
Says something to all players within 50 blocks of you
/shout <Message … … …>
/s <Message … … …>
/sh <Message … … …>
Whisper
Says something to all players within 10 blocks of you
/whisper <Message … … …>
/w <Message … … …>
/wh <Message … … …>
Talk
Says something to all players within a variable distance.
/talk <Distance (must be less than 50)> <Message … … …>
/t <Distance (must be less than 50)> <Message … … …>
Out-of-character
For use when you need to say 'brb' or 'lag' to all players
/ooc <Message … … …>
Normal Chat
Has been modified to 'whisper' to all players within 10 blocks
To Do/Upcoming Features
Configs, configs, configs. For everything.
+ a config has been added for the 1.12.2 version, allowing each of the commands to be enabled/disabled independently, as well as have their range and a couple of other characteristics altered.
