Description

Share this:

Wolf (and Ocelot) population control. Limit (0-100) per group or user. You can set different and separate wolf/ocelot limits for different groups and users.

Players can summon and release their tamed pets.

Command:
/heel
Summons a players wolves (if they're in a loaded chunk)

/here
Summons a players cats (if they're in a loaded chunk) (Here kitty kitty…)

Taming works as usual, but a right click with Paper in hand will send a tamed wolf or ocelot "back to the wild".

Permissions (verified working with bPermissions)
wolflimiter.maxwolves.# (where # is 0-100)
wolflimiter.maxocelots.# (where # is 0-100)
wolflimiter.heel
Permission for both /heel and /here

Optionally (config.yml) make wolves immune to certain damage types (Lava, Cactus, Fire, Fall). Normal damage is taken by default, as other plugins manage this factor as well.

Because tamed pet that aren't loaded (in a loaded chunk), aren't counted towards a players limit, it's possible to tame more than their limit is set. However, when the "extras" are loaded, and the player interacts with their pets, pets above their limit are despawned.

For this reason, I also didn't specifically mess with the breeding. You can still breed a wolf/cat, and have more than the set limit… until they're interacted with, and the "extras" are despawned.

Right-clicking on a pet that you don't own, will show who does.

Considering:
– immunities for ocelots
– Directly affecting breeding, so players don't "waste" food breeding, and then losing their new pet.
