AutoReconnect [1.16/1.17][Fabric][Client]

Upgraded to 1.17! Sadly no additional features yet and I didn't have much time to test it. If you find an issue please let me know in the comments or on github!

This mod will automatically try to reconnect you back to a server if you got disconnected.
By default, it will make 4 attempts after 3, 10, 30 and 60 seconds.

Features

• Multiple individually delayed reconnect attempts
• Displays a countdown on the disconnect screen
• Allows you to exit the disconnect screen quickly by pressing the escape key
• Customizable amount of attempts and delay between each attempt
• Client side commands to reload the config and set the delay between each attempt:/autoreconnect reload or /autoreconnect config [3, 10, 30, 60] (any list of integers)
• Support for several mods

Installation

1. 1. Download and install Fabric
2. 2. Download the Fabric API mod and put the jar into the mods folder
3. 3. Do the same for this mod

Compatibility

• ModMenu – Properly shows the mod icon, name and author and provides a link for this page and the github issues page
• AuthMe – Cancels the countdown if you click on the Re-authenticate button to revalidate the session of the game

Common questions

• Can a command be sent automatically after reconnecting? No, not yet, maybe in a future version
• Can I have infinitely many reconnect attempts? No, just configure many many attempts, you probably don't really need infinitely many attempts
• Is there a Forge version? No there is not a version for forge and it's also not planned. I'm not interested in learning how to develop mods for forge, neither do i have the time to do so.
• Is there a version for 1.13 or lower? No since Fabric does not exist for those versions.
• Is there a version for 1.14 or 1.15? Not yet, if theres enough demand i will probably make one.
