Toggle building/battle mode (initial setting is R)

You can only use a modded combat system in battle mode.

Basic attack (vanilla attack key)

Dash attack(vanilla attack key during sprinting)

Dodging(initial setting is vanilla sneak key)

Special attack(press attack key long)

Weapon & Armor

Some new attributes are added involving a new combat system.

Armor negation: this percent of total damage won't be decreased by defense points.

Impact: this attribute will increase the total stun time of the target when it hurt.

Hit N enemies per swing: the maximum number of capable of attack enemies per one swing.

Weight: this attribute shortens the stun time when hurt, but increases the cooldown of skills and decreases the attack speed. Items with high attack speed will be affected more. All entities using modded style combat have this attribute by default as twice their health.

Stun Armor: this attribute will protect you from being stunned.

The Special Attack

Some weapons have a special type of attack. To do this kind of attack, you have to fill the special attack gauge. It will be increased when you dealt damage to any kind of entity that has an HP. Commonly, they have more powerful abilities than basic attack and dash attack. You can see the tooltip of a special attack by pressing special attack tooltip key. (initial setting is 'P')

Enchantments

Sharpness

Sharpness enchantment will increase the damage of every type of attack.

Sweeping Edge 

Sweeping edge enchantment will increase the damage of special attack(50% | 67% | 75%)

Knockback

Knockback enchantment will increase the stun time.

Restriction by Weapon Types

Twohanded weapons are unable to be held in the offhand. And they disable the offhand function.

Mainhand Only weapons are unable to be held in the offhand but allow holding another item in the offhand.

Weapon Combo

Some weapons have different attack styles depending on what is being held in the offhand. Not only the basic attack animation but also the special attack will be changed. Try the variety attack styles!

Stun

All animated attack stuns the target by a short time including the player. You can't control your character during that time. To protect you from these dangers, You need a "Stun Armor" point.

Stun Armor point can be acquired by equipping armors as described above. The more tough armor, the more Stun Armor point you will get.

This point appeared at the right bottom of the screen. It will decrease every time you hit based on the attacker's impact attribute value and once it reaches 0, you will no longer be protected from being stunned. To regenerate it, you must stop attacking or executing skills. The higher HP, the faster it fills up.

Some kinds of creatures also have this attribute. You will need weapons with a high value of impact or hit and run fighting skills to defeat them.

In the mod option screen

Long Press Counter: How many ticks it'll take to recognized as long press (Used for special attack)

FIlter Animation: Disable the animated model when the player is not in battle mode.

In the world

Entity

Q: the mod armor is invisible or looks weird!

A: Epic Fight Mod uses entity models different from the vanilla Minecraft. So the vanilla armor model has a redesigned model for Epic Fight Mod animation. Custom armors are based on the vanilla Minecraft model, so there could be a visual glitch with Epic Fight Mod.
