Description
This mod adds an realistic phone to Minecraft, giving you the ability to chat with other players, viewing a world map, saving waypoints and much more. An useful tool to enhance your experience alone, or with friends on servers.
Forge: Sadly the config is only client side. By default (only 1.119), the OP apps can only be used by OPs, so it is still safe to use on servers (only in 1.19).
Fabric: Update to 2.1.0 – In case you update the fabric version, delete the config to reset it (so new values will be added), or use the following template to add the missing values (the most important one to add is the battery_minutes=120, since the default value is 1, it means it will only take one minute for the battery to drain, if this line is not added, oops):

Spawn: Allow the player to teleport to some preset locations in the world (for example, to the server spawn, or to the minigames, or their home (if enabled in config)). See config file to add those preset locations.

Why can’t everyone just play the latest versions of minecraft…..

Notes:
- The mod is build around the default minecraft font, so I would recommend to used that font for a better visual experience
- Turn on the “high quality” setting in the settings app to take better photos & screenshots (when the camera app is installed)
- Both forge & fabric should contain the same features per game version. The latest minecraft version will always have the most features.
Install:
Fabric:
- Install fabric (https://fabricmc.net/)
- Download the mod & fabric API (make sure the MC versions match!)
- Drag both files in your mods folder
Forge:
- Install forge (https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/)
- Download the mod (make sure the MC versions match!)
- Drag the mod in your mods folder
Help:
Config: Check the file for more information, see .minecraft/config/eyemod.txt (forge: eyemod-config.toml)
Screenshots: Install the camera app to take photos & screenshots, screenshots can be taken with the round button next to the quit button (top left). See ./minecraft/screenshots/eyemod/ for the taken screenshots!
Console: Use help for more info, some commands are OP only, or only usable when the console is installed as an app. ! Do not use “/” before your command
Missing apps: In case your phone misses the store app, you can install apps through the console, open the console (top right corner in the status bar, next to the battery icon) and use this command: “app install store”. If you do not have enough money to install this app (in case it is not free) use this: “money add <amount>”, make sure to have the currency in your inventory.
Translation: There are no translations yet as far as I know, but feel free to translate the mod!
Connect to the router: Create & place a router, turn it on by giving it a redstone signal and right click on it with your EyePhone to connect to the EyeNet.
Charge your EyePhone: Create & place a charger, charge it by giving it a redstone signal. When a red bar is showing, right click it to charge your EyePhone.
