Crystal canyons is a new biome that is most likely going to spawn in colder biomes. This new biome contains 2 new distinctive crystal spikes with calcite formation underneath the crystals.

Tweaks:

Pillagers will now have a random chance of dropping a silver ingot

Mining a budding amethyst will be slower

Mechanics:

Aura Ringer – Sends particles in areas with block light level of 0, attract villagers, gives the illusive effect to the players (Grants Illusive only in survival) when active. Right click the block with allurite block to activate it. 

Warped Anchor – When a thrown enderpearl hits near a warped anchor, it will teleport the player to the nearest warped anchor in a radius of 16.

Lumiere Composter – Right click a semi-filled composter with a lumiere shard to get the lumiere composter. Composting the lumiere composter to max will grant you a glowstone dust

Charged Lumiere – Strike a lumiere block with lightning to get charged lumiere block. Place a granite on top of a charged lumiere will turn it into red sand, red sand -> sand, cobblestone -> gravel

Combustion Table – Silver bomb customization. Gunpower increases the explosion radius, slimeball increases the velocity and the bounciness, and string increases the duration before the silver bomb explodes.

Sterling helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots – Right clicking a banner will attach it to the helmet, remove it by right clicking a block with an empty hand. It also prevents the mob from sinking into powder snow and it provides explosion resistance

Sterling Horse Armor Item – Right clicking a banner onto a horse with sterling armor on will attach a banner to the horse. It also prevents the mob from sinking into powder snow and it provides explosion resistance

Mobs

Sparkle – Find this mob in the crystal canyons. You can breed them with glow lichen. Players can extract the crystal shards out of their body shells with pickaxes. Increasing the fortune level can increase the number of crystal shards obtained. After an extraction, it will take 5-10 minutes to regrow. Extracting it with silk touch can drop an entire cluster, but it will take 10-20 minutes to regrow. You can speed the time by feeding them glow lichen. Sparkle may also have a chance of “biting” the clusters to make them emit particles.  

Effects

Illusive effect – This effect will obfuscate the health bar, hunger bar, and inventory slots. However you can still check your inventory slots by opening up your inventory.
