Hunslet “Austerity” 0-6-0ST

During the second World War, Britain faced a need for powerful locomotives in large quantities, for shunting the task was fulfilled with these, the Hunslet "Austerity" 0-6-0ST. Based off of the industrial Hunslet 50550 Class with material saving features, they were perfect for the task. On top of their military success, there biggest presence was in industry. Mainly coal mining, but docks, iron works and more had acquired these powerful locomotives either from the British War Department, or new from Hunslet, with the last being built in 1964, twenty-one years after the first. In this pack you will find these locomotives re-created in many liveries, including Caledonian Railway Blue, LNER Black, plain colors (black, red, green, yellow, blue) NCB Green and Red and BR Black (Text, Early and Late Crests) and War Department Olive.
