jwUtil Server Plugin

V 0.0.3 beta update live, please report any troubles

A simple plugin to display a message of the day as well as keep track of who's online.

When a user signs in they are shown the Message of the Day as configured in the config.yml. It supports several colors as well as a few extra tags. as described on the supported tags page. as of V0.0.3 it includes a very simple message system. future releases will have a "last seen" user system as well as the ability to provide details like the last seen and/or message count to an external webserver. Feel free to request additional commands or features.

I am also considering offering different builds as the aim is simplicity and I understand that some people may want JUST the motd, or JUST the message system, etc. etc. So please leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Commands:

/checkmessages – returns # of pending message
/sendmessage [player name] [message] – Send a message to [player name]
/getmessage – display the first found message waiting, call recursively to retrieve all messages

===========

the current configuration (plugins/jwutil/config.yml) currently only supports 1 value, and will be created if not found on initial startup

heres an slightly modified version of the config from the test server
A word of caution, IF you intend to use characters like : in your MOTD, or for readability have it span multiple lines, escape it entirely with slngle quotes => ' or it will not work and will generate exceptions on your server.

===========
