Mobsistence

Mobsistence is a simple plugin to facilitate sharing and persisting mob metadata between plugins or between events.

Server Admins

While the plugin is mainly intended as an API for other plugins, it saves all the metadata in XML files which can be easily examined in any browser or edited using any XML editor

Plugin Devs

Full API allowing mobs to be added, removed, counted, and their metadata manipulated

Possible Uses

• Store data about when or where the mob spawned, and use it when the mob dies to change drops
• Keep a record of which players have damaged a mob
• Set unique values on certain mobs
