Description

This project isn't really maintained anymore. I think this plugin might fill this plugin's place

NoSpeedKick – prevent kicking for moving too fast:
Version: v0.3
CraftBukkit build: #1317 (probably also works with #1240)

This is my first plugin, and its very simple. NoSpeedKick can prevent people from getting kicked for moving too fast (i.e. the server will sometimes automatically kick someone with the reason "You moved too quickly :( (Hacking?)"). This sometimes happens due to occasional bugs in other plugins and whatnot, so I decided to just remove it.

WARNING: While automatic kicking seems like just a nuisance, it is a somewhat important layer of security. Using this plugin could potentially allow people to overload or crash your server. I recommend that you use another plugin that prevents hacking in combination with this one to reduce your risk. (I recommend NoCheat)

Features

  • Prevents kicking for moving too fast
  • Can optionally broadcast alerts in chat
  • Supports many permissions plugins
    • Bukkit's built-in permissions
    • Permissions 2.x/3.x (yes, I know it's inactive)
    • anything that can mimic either of those
  • Has a basic permissions system built-in for server without permissions (you can give nodes to no one, ops, or everyone)
  • Source code is in the JAR
