Nutron’s Modern Pack

Nutron’s Modern Pack is a 1.8.9 resource/texture pack.

What is changed

Most of the textures are derived from 1.17.1, but there are some textures edited/created by myself.

• Low Fire
• Short Sword
• Red Diamond
• Darkened Stone
• Jungle/Desert/Mesa Panorama (the spinning background)
• Darkened Stone Bricks as Options Background (the dirt background)
• Rain’s & Snow’s Opacity Lowered
• Rounded Font
• Pumpkin Blur Removed
• Underwater Overlay Removed
• Slightly Darkened Stone Bricks as Unknown Servers
• Vignette (appears near world border/dark area) Removed
• Some Particle’s Opacity Lowered
• Made Enchanting Table Diamond and Ores Emissive (textures that always render at full bright)
• Square Effect Particles

Optifine settings for textures

• Setting Video Settings > Quality > Connected Textures to Fast/Fancy is needed for connected textures
• Enabling Video Settings > Quality > Emissive Textures is needed for Emissive Ores (will blur in the distance)
• Setting Video Settings > Details > Rain & Snow to Default/Fast/Fancy is needed for Rain’s & Snow’s Opacity (otherwise you won’t see any raindrops or snowflakes)
• Setting Video Settings > Details > Vignette to Fast can also disable the vignette
