PlayTics FaceMask Mod add a new item. The Face mask. You can wear the mask as a helmet and upgrade it with the vanilla helmets on the forge table. So you can wear a face mask and at the same time have the protection of a diamond helmet. So contribute to the end of the pandemic and always wear a mask.

The Mask is a new helmet in Minecraft. It looks like a, jea, a Mask

The mod is available in 4 variants: 

Pixelated: A mask but one with a low resolution (more Minecraft style)
High resolution: As with the first variant, only a mask with a much higher resolution
Pixel upgrade: This is the first variant only that you can combine the mask with the vanilla helmets
High-resolution upgrade: Like varint 2, only that the mask can also be combined with the vanilla helmets like the upgrade variant from pixelated.
