Description
This mod adds several, mainly ambient mobs to the game, all of them keeping to the “good old vanilla art style”. This means that the mobs won’t stylistically clash with any of the other vanilla mobs. The mod in in beta at the moment, so only some creatures have been added.
Features Added
- Ants and Anthills
These tiny squeaking fellas spawn in most forest biomes. They are pack neutral. When passive, they follow anyone holding wheat seeds. You might even find anthills rarely generating in forests.
- Whales and Orcas
Dolphins aren’t the only cetaceans in Minecraft’s oceans anymore! Whales and Killer Whales can be found lounging about in Ocean biomes, with the latter preferring colder climates.
- Wasps and Wasp Nests
These hostile arthropods can be found in badlands, mesas, and savannas. They will attack in large groups, and can be mistaken for a bee from a distance. Occasionally, wasp nests made of coarse dirt and terracotta can be found in their home biomes.
- Coyotes
These smaller cousins of the wolf can be found in many hot biomes, as well as a few choice forests ones. They are pack neutral, and unlike most animal mobs, only spawn at night.
- Ender Sludges and End Sludge Pits
Inspired by the grey goo pits from Minecraft Dungeons, these creatures are the End’s answer to slimes and magma cubes. Unlike normal slimes and magma cubes you cannot tell how many they are going to split into based on size. Sludge Pits also occasionally spawn in the End Midlands and Highlands with this mod installed, with the bigger ones having an Ender Sludge spawner within.
