Warped Book

A simple mod created to allow for ease of teleportation without bein as OP as /warp or /home commands, and without being a "one item takes you everywhere" mod.

Warped Book adds a few items to the game, usage of these items is found below & in helpful tooltips when in game!
tooltips are accessed when holding shift and hovering over the item with your cursor/mouse.

Crafting :

The Recipe is fairly simple – a book, a feather and an enderpearl (shapeless) will make 1 Inert Warped Book.

Inert Warped Book Usage:

When Right Clicked the book will awaken and remember its position, linking it.
If the item is held in the players Offhand with a Warped Book in their Mainhand, the Inert Warped Book will copy the others Linked location upon Sneaking + Right Clicking.

Warped Book Usage :

When Right Clicked the book will teleport the player holding it to its linked location.
If sneaking, and not holding a Inert Warped Book in your other hand, while you Right Click it will "poke out the books eye" unlinking it.

The Warped Book will also remember the dimension you linked it to, and will "Cry" instead of teleporting you when in  a wrong dimension.

Warped Book Crazed :

Crafted with 4 Popped Chorus Fruit & an Inert Warped Book.
When Right Clicked it will perform the same action as a Chorus Fruit.
The Chorus Fruit Fumes seam to have made the book go insane.

Book Feed & Chorus Book Feed :

When books are used they will loose hunger (shown as damage), these items are used to feed them.
Hold the feed in your offhand & the book in your main hand and Press Shift + Right Click to feed the book.

Enchantments :

Etiquette – Increases the amount of hunger gained when fed.

Stuffed – Functionally the same as Unbreakin, but for books

Energetic – Reduces the cooldown time between uses

Curses :

Blindness – The book can no longer follow you when teleporting

Famine – The opposite to Stuffed – causing more damage to be taken, will not occur on a book with Stuffed

Gobbling – The opposite to Etiquette – causes it to gain less hunger when fed, will not occur on a book with Etiquette

Modpacks :

Feel free to add this in any forge modpack 🙂

Fabric :

Currently no plans to move to fabric.

Future :

This is just the beginning, I have future ideas for the mod – maybe adding a pedestal that can hold the book so when you teleport it doesn't follow you,
make the key binds interchangeable. Possibly and interdimensional book. That kind of stuff.

Translations :

I am really bad at translating so the mod currently is only in english – if anyone wants to translate and send me the translated lang files feel free to 🙂
