Alterlands

This mod adds a new dimension (called Alterlands) to Minecraft. This dimension shares many similarities with the Overworld, such as the presence of water, lava, sunlight and the moon, in addition to other characteristics.
This mod also adds more than 500 new blocks, 75+ new items, new sets of tools and armor, new ores (both for the Overworld, for Nether and the Alterlands dimension itself) and also brings to the game some new mechanics and content that works as a small expansion to the vanilla game.
The mod also has lore in development, although this should not be taken too seriously as we all know that minecraft does not have a solid story.

Alterlands contains:

– 31 New Biomes, all found in the new dimension. Many more are planned and some will receive changes in the future
– 570 New blocks.
– 150 Items.
– 50 New foods.
– 2 New mobs: Skeletal Spider and Wither Crawler (many more on the way).
– 42+ New achievements.
– 12 New tool sets.
– 4 New armor sets.
– New special tool: Hammer

– New tool: Hatchet – Light-weight axe with less durability, but more speed for combat.
– New mechanic: Door Unlocking – Use key items to open doors of special structures.
– New main mechanic: Accessories – Equip special items to improve your fighting, exploration or mining skills.
– Vanilla expansion including various new blocks and plants
– 45 New Structures – Counted between environment structures and buildings with loot inside
– New ranged weapon: Blaze Staff (tier weapon)
– 8 New enchantments
– Mobs coming soon…

It is highly recommended to play this mod using the "JEI" mod (Just Enough Items). The crafting recipes of the mod aren't showed in the Recipe book of the game, so you are going to need this mod to understand all the crafting recipes. If you don't use this modification, you may check the image section to find the most basic crafting recipes to acces the new dimension.

Important Notes:
#1 – 1.14.4 and 1.15.2 versions were Discontinued, so they aren't gonna receive any updates from now on. Also i will not backport this huge mod to 1.12.2, so please don't ask for it. I will ignore all the comments related to this topic.

#2 – The mod isn't finished yet, it's constantly updating and will bring more content and fixes in the future. Also this mod isn't intended for using along with other mods (specially with mods that change the player's inventory mechanics or add new biomes). You can use the mod in a modpack, but i cannot guarantee the mod will work perfectly fine along other mods. So be careful, always make a copy of your world if you decide to include Alterlands on it.
