Slagolicious

The primary goal of this mod is to help transform the terrain with minecraftian chemistry for the purpose of construction and mining convenience. For example, what is already implemented is a way to turn large piles of gravel into smooth stone. Useful when you're mining out an area underground, and gravel keeps falling on you. Just zap it with some molten slag, and poof! No more falling gravel. Future features are planned to help facilitate the construction of special builds such as scaffolding, sky forts, and underwater bases.

Here's the main wishlist of things I would like to design and add. The more plus signs, the more expensive.
++ Hot acid: chews smooth stone into cobble, and cobble into pitted cobblestone
+ Pitted cobblestone: A climbable version of cobblestone
+ Hot foam: Expands into small hollow shells of foam, useful for building underwater
+++ Station for mixing foam: Needed to make the foam mix.
+++++ Tree blight: An infectious disease that slowly decays trees, grasses, and flowers, to clear large wooded areas out. May require end-game material
++ Cool lava: turns to obsidian after being placed
