Description
Vanilla Vistas is an OTG preset (OTG is required) that overhauls terrain generation and biome placement using only vanilla biomes.
The terrain has lots of height variety without being difficult to walk across and there is plenty of flat terrain for base building. The aim is to provide a more picturesque and enjoyable exploration experience without adding any new biomes while maintaining a vanilla feel.
There are two world presets included in the mod:
Vanilla Vistas (Normal): Rolling hills, gradually sloping mountains and plenty of flat areas to build in.
Vanilla Vistas (Amplified): More aggressive height increases and less realistic terrain shapes while creating minimal floating terrain or other abnormalities.
